FAQs

  • This workshop is for photographers who are new Adobe Lightroom. The workshop covers the basic concepts needed to start getting organized and to edit your photos from start to finish. More advanced Lightroom features are covered in a separate workshop.

Please remember that Lightroom Classic is not a program that can use layers, resize objects, create collages, or remove large objects from a photograph. Those techniques are covered in my upcoming Photoshop course.

    Included are:

    • A 6-hour course divided into 2 weekly sessions (3 hours each).

    • A set of free Lightroom presets to add a variety of looks to your photos.

    • PDF handouts of the key concepts covered.

    • A maximum of 8 participants guarantees personal attention.

  • • A laptop computer with Adobe Lightroom Classic installed.

    • A collection of your digital photographs to edit during the two workshop sessions.

Adobe Lightroom Classic must be installed on your computer before the start of the workshop.

You can download and install a free 7 day trial by clicking here.

Important : An Adobe subscription plan is required to use Lightroom Classic after the 7 day trial period, but you can pay for one month of Lightroom Classic (which includes Photoshop) for around $13 CAD. You must cancel before day 14 to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • There are 2 versions of Adobe Lightroom. Please make sure you have installed "Adobe Lightroom Classic". The name must have the word "Classic". This program is part of the Adobe Photography plan not the Lightroom plan.

Also, make sure Lightroom is installed and running correctly before attending the workshop so that we can jump right into the content.

I encourage you to install the latest version of Lightroom Classic because older versions may lack some of the latest features that will be presented.

  • Do you offer group discounts?

Yes, just click here to email me before you purchase your tickets and I’ll apply a 7% discount to your total when you book more than 3 participants.

Can I transfer my ticket if I can't make it?

Sure, as long as it's used for the same date and event. Just let me know 24 hours before the start of the workshop so I know whom to expect.

    Cancellation / Refunds

All fees are refunded in full if the workshop is cancelled for reasons including but not limited to not enough participants registered, instructor illness, or any other unforeseen circumstances which may make the workshop operation inadvisable. In case of cancellation, you can also use your reservation on a future date.

I provide a full refund for cancellations up to 10 days before the workshop.

Cancellations less than 10 days before the workshop will be refunded minus 30% of the workshop fee. This allows me to cover the costs incurred to present the workshop to those attending.

No refunds are offered for no-shows to the workshop.

I reserve the right to alter the itinerary when deemed necessary or advisable. I will let you know of any changes in advance.

Participants are responsible for any expenses or damages incurred from joining the workshop. This includes any costs incurred in preparing to join the workshop.
