In this workshop, you'll learn advanced tips and techniques that will speed up your editing time.

Turbo boost your Lightroom workflow

We'll start by configuring the Lightroom preferences to make it run as fast as possible. Then you'll learn how tools like the Adjustment Brush, Crop Tool, Spot Healing and Gradient tools can be used in ways that extend their functions. We'll also cover the new Color Grading panel and the Range Mask feature in the gradient tools.

Streamline the interface and learn useful keyboard shortcuts to work faster in the Library module.

How to keep your Library folders in sync with your Catalogue.

Get organized faster with targeted collections and sync collections to your mobile devices.

Work smarter in the develop module using snapshots, tone warnings and virtual copies.

Use Reference View to match the look of an image to different one.

Create presets of your most used brush and gradient settings for quicker editing.

Use Masking to protect areas from the effects of the Brush and Gradient tools.

The workshop consists of two sessions, 75 minutes each of live, online training.

The small group setting will allow plenty of time to get all your questions answered and receive feedback on your editing workflow and your photography

Is this an online workshop?

Yes, the course will take place online via Zoom.

Is this workshop for me?

This workshop is ideal for Lightroom users who are comfortable with the basics of the program. You should know the basics of the Library and Develop modules and how to import images into Lightroom.

What’s included

  • 2 weekly sessions of 90-minutes each.

  • A PDF handout of the topics covered.

  • A maximum of 10 participants that guarantees personal attention.

What you’ll need

  • A computer with internet access and the free Zoom program installed.

  • Adobe Lightroom Classic pre-installed on your computer. You can download and install a 7-day free trial by clicking here. (An Adobe subscription plan is required to use Lightroom after the trial period. If you don’t wish to join a subscription plan, remember to cancel before the seven day trial is over).

  • A collection of your own digital photographs to work with during the workshop.

Important

There are 2 versions of Adobe Lightroom. Please make sure you have installed "Adobe Lightroom Classic CC". The name must have the word "Classic".

Also, make sure Lightroom is installed and running correctly prior to attending the workshop so that we can jump right into the content. We encourage you to install the latest version of Lightroom Classic. Although previous versions have most of the content covered, they may lack some of the latest features that will be presented.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes, just email us before you purchase your tickets and we'll apply a 7% discount to your total when buying 3 or more.

Can I transfer my ticket if I can't make it?

Sure, as long as it's used for the same event. Just let us know 24 hours before the start of the workshop so we know whom to expect.

Cancellation / Refunds

All fees are refunded in full in the event the workshop is cancelled for reasons including but not limited to: not enough participants registered, instructor illness, venue problems or any other unforeseen circumstances which may make the operation of the workshop inadvisable. You may also choose to use your ticket on another date or applied to a different workshop.

We provide a full refund of fees for cancellations up to 7 days before the workshop. Cancellations less than 7 days before the workshop will be refunded minus a 30% of the workshop fee. This allows us to cover the costs incurred to make it possible to hold the workshop for those attending.

No refunds are offered for no-shows to the workshop.

We reserve the right to substitute venues and facilities and to alter the itinerary when deemed necessary or advisable. We will let you know of any changes in advance.

We are not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred by workshop members as a consequence of any cancellation, such as costs incurred in preparing for the workshop including equipment, lost income, or any other workshop-related losses or expenses.
